I’m not sure quite what the surgery was but.. according to Tammy thru Facebook, her brother Timmy had surgery, if you recall he was having issues in December he apparently had another surgery on the 2nd and they were hoping to let him go home today. Please Keep him and his wife in your prayers.

I was just informed that our cousin Tim Raymer has fallen on some hard times due to medical reasons.
His wife has been in and out of the hospital for a while now and was recently diagnosed with Cancer again, and to make matters worse Tim started having some severe heart problems and has had to be put on a pacemaker and is out of work. His Sister is asking for any donations and prayers you can give. Tim has from her understanding no insurance for himself.

7:30pm – Halloween Party – Just please don’t let your costume be nudest, we’d appreciate. The party could last until midnite and I’m understanding will have cartered hors d’œuvres (yeah I had to look up how to spell it.)
There is no alchohol. There will be music (live and dj)

I’ve been working on this Family Tree now for a solid year and some change, recently I’ve been contacting people directly to fill out the gaps of what I’m missing, and I’ve also been using previously unavailable information to gain insight on things it would seem that very few people knew.
I’ve made some discoveries that I never really quite understood. When I was young, I’d say 11 I found the “large bible” that my mom and dad had. In this bible was a family tree.. instantly I was fascinated. It explained my weird long last name, my great great grandfather had immigrated from Germany.
I didn’t have any other info than what was on the pages of that bible, and when I started with this last year that was the first thing I copied.
Using sites like familysearch.org, and distantcousin, I was able to build that tree to over 600 people, but I still haven’t been able to accurately find Joseph Russell Wittenmeier Sr’s parents, or why he came to America.
I’ve not been able to account for the other (albeit small) amount of Wittenmeiers that dot Illinois, or California.
I did find out alot about the life they led.
We didn’t really inform people about any registry we made for the wedding.. and we thought it was bad form to include any in invitations..
Anyhoo:
We are registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and Target
We sent out invites a few weeks ago I wish more of you could come, but I kind of expected turnout to be low it being 12 hours from Nashville. As soon as we can pics will be up, and plenty of pics from our honeymoon in Japan!
OH.. we just got a HOUSE!! I’m not spilling any details about what and how.. but as long as everything works out.. we move in December!!

Sydney and I are getting married on October 31st in Lincoln NE at the Del Ray Ballroom.
If you wish to attend keep in mind it’s a 12 hour drive, but some people are already coming from Nashville so you stand a good chance of being able to tag along.
I need to know who is coming, who they are bringing, and what not.

This weekend I was in Nashville, I dropped off Sarah and we had a Family Reunion of sorts.
We’ve decided that this is gonna be a Yearly thing.. and that it may not be on the 4th.. but it’s a good weekend to have it.
I’ll have pics up soon, and thanks to people who came and brought pics for the site, I have some I have to scan from the 80’s.. :3
